Climbing Peak Pakhalde forms part of the Khumbu Himal in Nepal and although dwarfed by the bulk of Lhotse it is nevertheless an interesting mountain.First ascent was in 1953 by Noyce,Bourdillon,Ward and Sherpas via the North ridge as part of preparations for the British expedition that year.Pokhalde is good to climb in the snowy season and therefore better to climb in autumn than spring.

Expeditions and Climbing Peaks - All our expeditions and climbing peaks are supported by satellite phone, two way radio, support oxygen (when required) and comprehensive first aid medical kit.We only use top quality expedition tents.

High Altitude Warning - Safety is a major consideration during all our expeditions however there are dangers involved in climbing 6000m,7000m and 8000m peaks that cannot be avoided.The extreme altitude,weather, cold and other mountaineering hazards ensure high altitude climbing has unavoidable risks at the best of times,members of our expeditions need to be aware of these dangers and accept that they are an integral part of high altitude mountaineering.

Itinerary :
Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu.
Day 03 : Fly to Lukla then trek to Phakding.
Day 04 : Trek to Namche Bazar.
Day 05 : Rest and Explore Namche.
Day 06 : Trek to Tengboche.
Day 07 : Trek to Pheriche.
Day 08 : Rest and Explore Pheriche.
Day 09 : Trek to Pheriche.
Day 10 : Climb Kalapathar and return to Lobuche.
Day 11 : Trek to Konggma La.
Day 12 : Trek to Pokalde Base Camp.
Day 13 : Summit Day and then back to Base Camp.
Day 14 : Trek to Tengboche.
Day 15 : Trek to Namche Bazar.
Day 16 : Trek to Lukla.
Day 17 : Fly to Kathmandu.
Day 18 : Rest in Kathmandu
Day 19 : Depart Kathmandu.
